This particular eCommerce client works within a nice niche and had been struggling to scale at a profitable margin. They had been wearing too many ‘hats’ and spreading themselves too thin.

Q2 and the Arrival of iOS14
Even during the most turbulent time that eCommerce has seen in recent years.
We managed to generate $180.387.62 in sales that generated 1,954 purchases in Q2.

It’s common knowledge that the arrival and roll out of IOS14 caused disruption to the whole market.
This was a time to ‘adapt or die’ for most eCommerce brands and agencies!
We rolled back spend whilst we adapted to the new way of reporting that had been enforced due to the IOS14 changes.
Entering into Q3
Moving into one of the quietest times for eCommerce and still battling many changes from the IOS14 update we managed to keep consistent.
Even managing to scale past Q2s numbers.
This quarter managing $205,370.97 in sales that brought in 2,273 in purchases.
Spending $58,831 leaving us with a 3.49 ROAS. In one of the most turbulent years seen due to IOS14, we’d managed 3 huge profitable quarters.
Delivering the sustainable growth the client had been asking for.
Going into Q4 we knew we wanted to scale and here are a few requirements before we do so:
Q4 and the Final Stretch
Closing in on our 4th profitable quarter and a huge first 12 months of working together.
We had a number of meetings with the client to ensure we were all aligned with our Q4 plans.
We had all BFCM campaigns built and ready to go by the end of October.
And it paid off.

What Worked Creatively?
As we continued to test new audiences and creatives throughout the quarters, we soon discovered and established a winning recipe when it came to creatives for this client.
We trialled a whole range of different types of copy and content and established that a combination of education, informative copy and short, snappy sale focused ads were what worked here.
Visually, raw, UGC videos of the product in action out-performed many other types of content.
