Our Ongoing Strategy

We started our work together in June 2020 which meant we had plenty of time to test and optimise before Q4. We began by optimising their accounts daily whilst building and testing new audiences.

We made sure we tested these new audiences with specific copy and content on a weekly basis. We adapted our creatives to suit specific events such as payday sales, bank holiday sales, and the all-important Black Friday.

Our strategy also included jumping on current trends. A big one for us was Love Island. We utilised specific Love Island-oriented audiences and creatives to keep our brand relevant and engaging to current audiences.

We tested a total of 723 ad sets in 2021.

As mentioned, we tested new copy and content on the account on a weekly basis. We learnt that the tone of voice for this brand was very sassy, fun and lighthearted.

Our audience here is quite young, so it makes sense to not overload them with too many words. They reponsded best to short and snappy copy and from this, we knew we needed our copy to be relatable and engaging to see the best results.

Although we knew that raw content was a solid choice for performance, that isn't where our creative testing ended. With every new audience interest, came a new content concept to try.

We quickly discovered imagery with bold text overlay and raw customer videos were both successful types of content on the account.
