The start of the journey with us

The client approached us in September 2020. She wanted to have an agency in place and ready to hit the ground running when Q4 started. She was interested in 2 key services:

As her business grew, Violet didn’t have time to be as hands-on with the building and management of Facebook ads. The client was getting good results, this is what they achieved in September before we got started:

We knew we had to hit the ground running when we started working on the account in October, so proper preparation was key. We got to work on taking this client through our extensive onboarding process.

Within this 14 day process, we complete our 25+ page bespoke onboarding journal which includes:

Off the back of this, we had a few small website recommendations but also a huge amount of knowledge about our competitors, customers, and lots of information about the creative approach we wanted to take.

The client was introduced to her Account Manager, Katie, who discussed all of these findings with her and got approval on our new copy for launch.

At the start of October, we did several things to get this ad account on the rise:

Black Friday Success for this client

Heading into November, everything was positive – the results and the client’s feedback.

The client was really pleased with her first month working with us and we had the foundations in place to take Black Friday by storm.

By the time November rolled around, Katie (their Account Manager) had been in conversation with Violet and her team regarding their Black Friday plans for a couple of weeks.

Our creative team got to work creating specific content and copy for the occasion.

We got ahead of the crowds and got Black Friday ads built by the first week in November so they had plenty of time to be reviewed and approved by Facebook.

We followed the results in the run-up to the main event. We knew from experience that the start of November can be slow while customers wait for the deals to drop, so we followed the results and adjusted the budget accordingly.

After scaling aggressively (led by results) in the last week of November and through Black Friday, we ended November with some huge figures:

We upped spend by 34% compared to October and also increased conversion value by 73% and ROAS by 29%.

Ending the year on a HIGH

Throughout November, Katie had scheduled weekly calls with the client to discuss current results but also future plans.

Thanks to this, when Black Friday ended, we already had Christmas creatives made and ready to go live. We made the switch from Black Friday to Christmas ads on December 1st and as always, adjusted our budget according to results.

We knew from experience that December tends to start high and remain strong until the days before Christmas when we see an understandable decline.

With this in mind, we monitored the budgets closely, as well as refreshing the creatives throughout the month to feel relevant to how far away from the last delivery date before Christmas we were

This ongoing monitoring and adjustment paid off because we enjoyed another big month in December and ended the year on a high.
